Beating Adwords – My Review of This Adwords Guide

Eric Stein wrote:

Anyone marketing online knows about Google Adwords, it is Google’s Pay-Per-Click advertising system that allows you to get your website listed at the top and side of search engines and on Google’s entire network of websites. You set a daily budget and the most you want to pay per click. After setting up your Adwords account your ads will appear within 30 minutes. This method is an instant way to get tons of target traffic. This sounds great, but what is the downside? Well, it costs money. You can bid as low as 10 cents for a click, but in many competitive markets you must bid 1-2 dollars to get enough traffic to matter. Imagine getting 100 hundred clicks, there goes a few hundred dollars. If you set up your account wrong you can waste hundreds of dollars within a few hours. However, if you know the secrets of Adwords marketing, you can capitalize, eliminate your competition and make a great return on investment. Some companies/marketers spend thousands of dollars a day on Adwords advertising! How can they afford this? Easy, they make more!

That is the most important thing for all people using pay-per-click advertising, you must make more money than you spend. This is also a golden business rule. After spending 10’s of thousands of dollars on Google Adwords advertising I knew there was a better, more efficient way to set up my account and make money online. I started looking for all the information I could find on the web and bought about 30 ebooks on the topic of Adwords. I read all the Guru’s books and know what works and what doesn’t. I put all of their techniques and philosophies to test and found 1 source that really did teach me how to make money online and taught me how to beat Adwords. I didn’t tell anyone about this until now because I didn’t want competition knowing my secrets, but really, it is a simple ebook. The information is Beating Adwords.

Beating Adwords explained to me everything about affiliate marketing and how to use this Adwords guide to start making serious cash online, working day and night, making me money all the time. I make money while I sleep, eat, run, workout, watch a movie, ride my bike, anything I choose to do, I am still making money. I never thought this day would come, but it has! The problem with most of the other Adwords information out there, is it is not written by people who have been successful with it, just people who know how to use it and maybe gathered a few tips here and there. Beating Adwords is the authorative guide to Adwords, nothing compares to this information. Why? Because it was written by 2 successful affiliate marketers, who know what they are doing, what works for them and makes them money. Do what they do and you will make what they make.

The techniques outlined in this ebook are focused on making every Adwords campaign a successful one. High click through rates, high conversion, how to write ad copy, choose profitable keywords and keyphrases, and most of all optimize your ads, which are tiny cash powerhouses when set up correctly. I wasted so much money over the years on Adwords. You may be like how I once was, or maybe you just started and don’t want to throw away your money. Whatever situation you are in, do not spend another dime on Adwords until you read this information.

It is great for newbies or advanced marketers, there is information in Beating Adwords for everyone. Anyone can start making money fast after they read this and implementing the ideas inside.

Google Adwords 101

Google is one of the most popular things out there in the Internet. Google dominates the field of search engines. According to a recent study, Google is responsible for generating more than 70% of the clicks to web pages that are searched through search engines.

Google has also devised a way to be able to put Internet marketing through a whole different level. Because of its market dominance, it has the capability to be able to set up a new pay-per-click system which aims at matching sellers and buyers. Google has developed what is not referred to as the Google Adwords.

What is Google Adwords?

Google Adwords is one of the most promising advertising opportunities that abound in the Internet arena. It is a pay-per-click system that advertises websites which have the highest bids for a certain search word or phrase.

If one would look at the window of an Internet browser and search something on the Google search engine, he will notice a section containing “sponsored links” at the right-hand side of the screen. These are the Adwords advertisements. These are websites which pay to be shown whenever a certain phrase or word is searched through Google.

Bidding

Business bid for their preferred keywords when they use the Adwords system. For example, a business that is engaged in selling laptops may opt to bid for search phrases such as “laptops for sale” “cheap notebooks” if they are applicable to their products.

Bidding in the Google Adwords system to get the prime spots is principally based on two factors: the click-thru-rate and the cost of the bid. The cost of the bid will depend upon the bidder himself. Bids can go as low as a nickel per click and up to fifty dollars per click. The bidder must know how much to spend because the system charges the bidding price whenever the website is clicked through the Adwords system. Another component is the click-thru-rate, or the rate by which visitors are clicking the website. Generally, the top three sites that are shown on the Adwords screen are the most popular and have the highest bids.

How to Engage in Adwords

If you’re looking into using the Google Adwords system as an advertising instrument, you can read the guidelines and the terms of conditions through the Google website. There are a few steps which we should go through so we can actually start utilizing Google Adwords.

Initially, you must open an account with Google. Google will lead you through this procedure. However, there are various things that you should take into consideration when creating an account. You should bear in mind the different strategies that you’d like to employ right from the start in terms of the selection of key words and the combinations of these words to be able to maximize the returns from engaging in this endeavor.

You should also target the right market in terms of selecting the correct language and countries in which you want your ads to appear. If one is selling products which would be of no use for citizens of other countries or if the option of exporting the products is not available, he might as well stick with his own country. He wouldn’t want to get charged by generating clicks from people who do not belong to the target market. That’s a waste of your hard earned cash!

The creation of an Adgroup is also a basic stage in using the Google Adwords system. One should be able to conceive and design an enticing advertisement and select the correct combination of keywords.

Advertisements

Google will ask an advertiser what he would want to put in his advertisements. The advertisement should contain a title line and a body. The title line is composed of a maximum of 25 characters and the body should contain a maximum of two lines which contain 35 characters each.

The real challenge in designing advertisements for Google Adwords is to effectively draw in customers and get them to click the internet site. A concise but striking advertisement is particularly effective in getting the attention of the surfers.

Links

When a prospective customer clicks a website through the Google Adwords screen, a continuous set of efforts should be made. The link in the Adword shouldn’t necessarily be the home page (index page) of a website but should be a web page wherein he can find information that is significant to him. The link, maybe, can be the “products” section of the website.

These are just a few of the basic matters that one must be able to digest to get a general feel of what Google Adwords is all about. One must be diligent in learning the different aspects of this system to be able to get the most out of it.

Effectively Using Overture/Yahoo To Get Website Visitors

Overture or now known as Yahoo because of Yahoo’s takeover, was the original inventor of the use of the P4P or Pay for Performance. Overture saw that the internet was fast becoming the easiest and most convenient way to shop, and advertising was going to hit at an all time high because of the many businesses in the arena.

To get a person to go to a site than others, it needs to be very visible. Providing ads that could direct potential consumers and costumers to their site would allow them to have an increase in traffic as well as sales. Yahoo provides a service that can put a site or company’s ad in their sites that can be shown when certain keywords are inputted.

Yahoo offers a chance for any company to increase their traffic by using their services. With more people being aware of your site, there would be more traffic and visitors to your site given the chance to view your pages as well as your products. With even a small percentage of successful sales, with a high traffic volume this could still be a substantial figure for your company.

Getting a consistent substantial flow of website visitors is every company’s goal. Many methods are devised and utilized to ensure that there would be more people to boost the sales and to be aware of the existence of such a product or service. Website visitors are potentially the life blood of your internet based business.

Yahoo/Overture utilizes the same principle as Google’s Adwords. In fact, they are very similar to each other that they use keyword and keyword phrase searches and to determine which ads to show per search. When a person types in a keyword or keyword phrase to search for anything, the search engines gives out the results in a page. Then at the right side of the page, you will see selected ads that have paid for their ads to be viewed with certain keywords and keyword phrases searched.

For example, Lets say you run a car parts retail/wholesale site. You choose keywords that can prompt or trigger your ads to be shown in the page when a keyword is searched. When a search engine user types in Honda Accord, your ad may come up if you have designated that as one of your keywords. You don’t need to fully optimize your site with Search Engine Optimization methods and techniques.

While some labor so hard to make their site one of the high ranking sites per keyword search, you get the chance to be on the top of the list or at least in the first page of a search result increasing your chance to be clicked on. With that, you drive traffic and website visitors to your site a lot faster.

You will have to pony up some cash when using this service though. There are different ways Yahoo/Overture will charge you. It may be in the number of Keywords or Keyword phrases your ad uses or in the many times your ad is clicked on. Others offer many other services like having your ad show up not only in the search engine pages but also with some third party sites.

Third party sites support ads that have the same theme or niche as them. With more areas your ad is shown, you increase the chances of people knowing about your site or product. With more website visitors you increase the sales of your site which makes your investment with your ads a wise one.

With so many competitions in the internet based businesses, it is necessary to take a huge leap forward from the pack by advertising. Yahoo/Overture will be a great place to start. Many have utilized their services and have reaped the rewards of this decision. It’s a marketing strategy that will increase your website visitors as well as increase your sales resulting to profit.

It takes money to make money, while there are some methods that are basically low cost or free, using a marketing service such as what Yahoo/Overture offers will provide results faster and on a larger scale. Many businesses have learned this the hard way, don’t be counted with them.

www.secrets4adwords.com

Now, lets get stuck in.

First, we need to be able to see exactly where our ads are being placed. We need to be able to do this to be able to eliminate the websites that we don’t want to use.

Adwords Secret Report:

1 – Select the ‘reports’ tab from the top navigation.

2 – Select ‘Create a new report’.

3 – Create your report. Lets take a look in detail at how this is done.

Report:

Choose the ‘Placement Performance’ from the list. By selecting this option, step 2-4 will become unique to the ‘Placement Performance’ category.

Settings:

Level of Detail:

Adwords allow you to choose from three sections – Ad Group, Campaign and Account. If you select Account, then the report will run for everything within your account. This is to generic, and should hardly be used. For the most targeted option, select Ad groups. This option allows you to target specific Adgroups within your account.

Note: for the best results, you must separate your content network and search network in to different adgroups. This will give you complete control over the performance of your content network.

Domain URL:

Adwords gives you the option of URL and Domain. URL will give you the exact URL the your ad was placed on, e.g – www.secrets4adwords.com/about-jeff-spires.php Where as Domain will only give you the overall domain name. E.G – www.secrets4adwords.com

For the best results I always choose URL. As this gives me an exact representation of what is happening.

View (Unit of Time):

Simply, add the unit of time that you want to run your reports. I normally set this to

‘Daily’. But this will be determined by how you want to run your own campaign.

Date Range:

Select the date range that you want to view.

Campaigns and Ad Groups:

This is where it starts getting good. Adwords allows you to select whether you want to run the report for everything associated under the umbrella of the ‘Level of Detail (selected earlier)’. Or, even better than that, you have the option of selecting the exact campaign or Adgroup that you want to focus on. Once again, this depends on what option you selected within the ‘Level of Detail’ drop down menu. This is a great way of getting really targeted with your stat tracking.

Advanced Settings (Optional)

Add or Remove Columns:

This section basically allows you to select which areas of your Adwords campaign you want to view within the report. Just check the columns that you want to use and deselect the columns that you don’t want to use.

However, the default options are normally good enough.

Filter Your Results:

This is a great feature that allows you to filter your results. Each filter basically is an option of how you want your results to be displayed. E.G – If you only want to show all results that have a CTR 1% or above, you can easily do this here.

Here is a list of the following criteria:

Search Query

Ad Distribution

Ad Group Status

Campaign Status

Impressions

Clicks

CTR

Avg CPC

Cost

Avg Position

Google also allows you to select more than one filter, which means that you can have multiple filters per report. Simple click on ‘Add Another Restriction’ to add an additional filter.

Templates, Scheduling and Email

Name Your Report:

Just name the report whatever you want.

Template:

If you would like to save this as as new template then check the check box. A new template basically means that you can use this report to create another report of the back of it. E.G, you want to run the exact report but with one section different.

This can be very handy for quickly creating new reports.

Scheduling:

Adwords report Scheduling allows you to decide how often you want your new report to run. If you decide to check this option, then Adwords will give you three options – Every Day, Every Monday, First Day of Every Month. Once again, this allows you to create an even more targeted report.

Email:

For all of you who are busy and on the road a lot. why not get this report sent direct to your inbox. This feature for me is a must. I run so many campaign, the more automated it is, the better. Simply by checking this one check box will save you having to keep coming into account and search for the report. Adwords also give you the option of attaching the report to your email as a .xml, .cvs, .csv(for excel), .tsv and .html file type. Yet another great feature from the Adwords guys.

Once your doe, just click on to the ‘Create Report’ button at the bottom right had corner of the page, and your done.

Ok, we now have our report running. To view you report, just select the ‘Reports’ tab from the top of the Adwords campaign. Adwords allows you to either select the report, or edit the report that you have just created.

So there you have it. yet another one of the Adwords Secrets Reveled. This truly is on of those great ways of running an Adwords account on steroids. So don’t pass this up.

Adwords: Why Beginners Cannot Make it Work

Steve Weber wrote:

inner has one or both of these fantasies about AdWords:

1. Simply grab a few affiliate links, advertise them with Google AdWords, and then watch the money roll in!

2. Build a site, forget about SEO, advertise with AdWords, and success is just around the corner!

You may already know it is not that easy. Like most of us, you probably don’t care to admit how much money you have lost to Google – I know I hate to think how much I gave away to them in the past.

Fortunately, I did not give up on the Adwords system. I was determined to find out what those few, super-successful people were doing with Adwords to make it all work. I believed the system could be very profitable in the right hands even for beginners.

I was right; I too would soon be enjoying Pay-Per-Click success!

I dug in and studied what the few successful people were doing. I read everything I could on the subject. I joined several of the top guru’s membership sites and received help from them. Then I practiced with AdWords…a LOT!

After a while I began having some success here and there. Now days, the bulk of my sales are the result of my successful AdWords campaigns! Once beginners understand the system and the real science behind AdWords success, things become much easier for them.

After being asked over and over for help with Adwords, I saw a real need for something beginners could use to dramatically shorten the learning curve. Instead of only seeing a credit card bill, beginners need real help for faster success instead of the trial and error methods which only result in lost money to Google.

If you are new to AdWords, or if you tried before and gave up, please know that Adwords does not have to be a “money pit”. There really is a method which must be learned and used. A beginner simply cannot begin a campaign; throw in some keywords, and then hope for the best.

Too many beginners commit deadly mistakes in their campaigns such as leaving the content network enabled or choosing to accept Google’s suggested bid and budget. There are a dozen different deadly mistakes a beginner can make with AdWords. However, even knowing the common mistakes is not enough. A workable strategy still must be put into place which enables keywords, ads, and landing pages to all work together.

Without going into too much detail here, the first help a beginner needs is for keyword selection methods. Great keywords do not come from the free keyword tools which are so prevalent online. There is far more to choosing Adwords keywords then copying and pasting what a free online tool suggests.

Beginners to AdWords must learn the science behind choosing keywords. However, just that one step is not enough. Without knowing how to properly tie the Adwords ad and the landing page to the keyword, failure and nothing but a credit card bill will be the only result for the beginner.

AdWords is so easy to set up. A beginner can begin advertising in a matter of minutes but will usually lose money 99% of the time. The 1% of Adwords beginners who have mastered the system have learned to apply a rather complex technique for choosing and filtering keywords and matching them to correct ad copy and landing pages.

The methods used for success are not rocket science; they are not simple either. If they were, everyone would be wealthy buying clicks!

The best part about “the system” is that, once perfected, the same system can be applied to any niche! Imagine the power in mastering that system. Google AdWords opens the doors to potentially massive traffic. All the beginner must do is seek out quality help and advice and then apply that knowledge.

3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.

There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.

Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.

The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.

Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.

Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving…

Quick & Easy Ways to Build an Opt in List

You finally realize that you need a good opt-in list. After reading countless articles and sought expert advices and have read many success stories of people creating a small fortune with opt-in lists you finally decide to have one of your own. Then it happens, you think you have known everything there is to know about opt-in lists and have followed their advices to the T and you still weren’t able to make a profit.

In fact, you may be losing money. You maybe hiring writers to help you out, or there are some expenses incurred, even if you have a big list, but only a very small percentage actually buys from you, your still losing profit. You’ll realize that after a few months when you see your statistics and sales figures.

So what could have gone wrong? Why have others succeeded where you have failed? The most common mistake is that you dived straight right in. You chose a topic where you think could be quite popular and would earn you money. This just not the case. Just because you wrote people from the list doesn’t mean they are going to buy instantly.

Here I will offer more advice, for those who have started an opt-in list and have failed, you can rejuvenate your failed venture. For those who are starting, here are three quick and easy ways to build a profitable opt-in list.

1) Get your customers to trust you and your products first. Just launching your opt-in list would not make you an expert and a believable seller. Put many articles first before you start an opt-in list. Write about the topic you know and have started and used for your site. Try to put forums first to gain knowledge about your customers about their wants and needs and target those wants and needs.

Join forums from other sites as well. Provide expert advices and recommendations. When you feel that people trust you already, you will be able to start your own opt-in list. You can build a base as well with other forum users. You can ask them to join your list. Friends are always good customers. Put up a link to your site so that they may be able to see what you’re business is all about.

The certain truth is, the money will only come in when the consumers and subscribers believe and trust in you. They want a product or service that could be a good exchange for their money. People are not going to buy something out of your recommendation if they don’t know you.

2) Find a product or service that people want and need. Although it may not be your forte, if you provide a service and product that you have researched and learned about well, you can carry it on forward. Invest your time, effort and money that you could sell as well as the buyers or subscribers of your opt-in list can use.

While it is true that it is best to sell something that you have interest in, there are not many people who have the same interest as you if you decide to sell something that is not entirely popular or profitable. Do your research well and you would see the profits come in. Also provide your subscribers with promotional material that they could actually use and spread around.

3) Make friends with other opt-in list users. This is basically beneficial especially if it is someone who has already launched a successful opt-in list. These are people that have the experience in this venture and experience is still the best teacher. While there are many articles available for you in the internet to use, there is nothing like getting a first hand account from someone you trust.

Experienced opt-in list users will be able to tell you what to do and what not to do because they have gone through it. While different situations occur for different people, the general concept can still be very helpful. There are many things to avoid and these people will be able to tell you which ones.

Building a profitable opt-in list don’t just happen overnight. There are many preparations and effort to do. Opt-in lists are built from scratch, as your list grows, you should also maintain the quality of your list. Keep it organized and manageable. Get or hire help if need be, just make sure that your subscribers are happy and satisfied and they will be willing to buy from you.

How to Success With Google Adwords

Boris Tomson wrote:

You see them on the side of nearly every web page you go on to these days. It doesn’t matter if the page is public or private, large company or small company, personal or for sales – these adwords are everywhere. And that’s precisely why they are such a great work-at-home opportunity.

How do they work? Well, here is a basic discussion on how adwords work, and how they can become your work at home business.

An adword is just that: a word that acts as a trigger for an advertisement. If the adword is typed into a web page, or if a certain web page has that word in the content, a series of advertisements (those are the links on the side) come up that people can click on. The general consensus is these advertisements funnel potential sales to the various sites that advertise on them. Those sites that carry the adwords receive payment for hosting the links on their site: which makes this a perfect work-at-home business.Since you probably don’t have several websites where you can host the adwords, you are going to have to create a series of simple information pages that help provide users with information they want. This is key! Provide good information to the web surfer, and you will increase your chance they will click through – and this increases your work at home profit.

The most popular work at home way to make this happen is to set up a website that provides information on a variety of topics. For example, say you set up a website that has information about childcare. You can write (or have written for you) dozens of short, but quality articles that will generate adword responses.

When people are typing in web searches, your articles will appear on search engines, and web surfers will click on your page. Once they reach the page and read the article, they will then decide if they want to click on the adwords to the corresponding page. In many situations, once a surfer clicks on those adwords, then you earn money. There are different adword providers, however, the largest seems to be Google Adwords. You see them almost everywhere, and thousands of websites are making a little extra revenue by hosting the links that are created with an adword system.

If you want to spend time in your work at home business setting up articles, and then applying those articles to web pages, consider setting up a network of adwords on those pages and you can begin to generate a great work at home income 24 hours a day and seven days a week.Boris has had a great deal of success working from home over the past three years. Adwords Strategies Part 2 Increasing Page Position

T.J. wrote:

AdWords Strategies to Increase Page Position

There are many AdWords strategies to consider however the purpose of this Article is to help you understand why it is important to have a high page position and what AdWords strategies you can implement to in order to obtain one. The while there are many reasons for you to obtain a high page position I will only concentrate one to for now as it is considered to be by many the most important. The reason that you want a high page position in Google AdWords is an obvious one for most; you want more traffic. Traffic leads to more sales. In other words the more traffic you have the more money you make. The more visible your AdWords ad is to the reader then the more clicks you are likely to get. In other words the less work a person has to do in order to see your add the better. If you AdWords Ad is in the first position Google’s search results the user looking for a product can more easily see your ad then if you were in the 10th position.

Google AdWords Quality Score

Google AdWords uses a quality score system to rate your ads keywords in relation to your overall campaign. The Quality score of Google AdWords is very important when considering page position and is directly related. Let me explain. The better your quality score the lower your cost per click will be, assuming that all other areas of your campaign are in unison with other AdWords quality score criteria. There are several determining factors to consider when trying to obtain a high quality score, however I will focus on two main factors for now that can have a dramatic effect on your quality score. The first determining factor is that of relevance. The more relevant you overall campaign is to your to the product or service you are selling is the better. You don’t want to have the keyword “meditation” if your advertisement says “AdWords Strategies” unless your selling meditation related products or services. The history of your campaign is also very important in determining your quality score. If you have had a bad campaign on a certain URL that you are using for a landing page in the past and you are struggling to increase your quality score, you may want to consider starting a new campaign with a new URL.

The “Pay Over” Strategy

Another AdWords strategy for those that have money to spare is one of the most obvious. For this AdWords strategy what you are going to do is outbid your competitor.
