traffic generation is one of the main problems lots of webmasters face. Sending a
high-quality amount of targeted traffic consistently to your website can be difficult and expensive; very expensive if not done well.

The key to getting lots of traffic to your website is to have high search engine positioning. Having an elevated search engine position is another problem webmasters face since a high number of them don’t have an understanding how to
accomplish this.

I have chosen Alexa because it is popular and you can observe your traffic rankings with them to see if you are making any progress and the following tips I am going to give in this article have made a difference on my websites.

Here are these awesome tips that can help you get started on your way up to the top:

1. Download the Alexa toolbar and surf your website on a daily basis. The toolbar will be installed at the bottom of your monitor. each time you load a website on your browser, it will show the Alexa position including yours.

2. Place an Alexa widget on your home page. According to some, when your visitors click on the widget, they will count as extra traffic.

3. Acquire a less expensive way to send more traffic to your website. According to Alexa, this is the number one tip you can apply to soar your rankings. The more traffic you send to your site, the higher it will climb.

Do the above tips perform? Of course! They do perform because I tested them myself. I used those 3 tips and one of my websites jumped from 2,121,203 to 871,898 in less than a month. I still need to increase this website’s ranking but I know the above will help increase it some more.

Another example – I Recently started building a new website and the second day its Alexa ranking showed as being a little over 10 million . About a week later, its Alexa ranking was at 1,791,955. Is it the Alexa toolbar and the Alexa widget making the difference? I had not sent traffic and I had not advertised the site. You be the judge!

There are other ways to boost your Alexa ranking such as getting lots of back links to your website and search engines optimization. If you do not know how to optimize your pages, you must learn how to do it. It is easier than you think. There is a lot of information all over the Internet that will get you started.

Getting back links to your website manually is very slow therefore, you should get a system that will help you obtain lots of them to your site. So far I have been doing it manually and now I am currently testing a system that will help getting lots of back links.

I have posted the results I have gotten this far just by using the 3 tips mentioned above and then I am going to post the results I receive on my back links.
